Loos, Carol M., Age 87, of Wind Lake, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on February 28, 1924, daughter of the late William and Emma (nee.Swobada) Klein. Carol was a 1942 graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. On August 26, 1950 she married William T. Loos whom preceded her in death on November 18, 1986. She was a machinist and worked in the Manitowoc Shipyards during WWII, building submarines for the war. She worked as a tool and die operator at Aber Cutters in Waterford for many years. She also worked at Waterford Office Supply and Robran’s flowers. Carol was member of Norway Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school, was a Special Education teacher and a member of the Altar Guild. She had a special love for animals and most of all Carol loved life! She enjoyed her time at Regency of Muskego. Her family sends a special Thank You to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Williams Bay Care Center, Mt. Carmel Rehab in Burlington and Memorial Hospital of Burlington for their special care of Carol. She is survived by three children: Bill (RaeLynn) Loos, Jean (Eugene) Bednarski and Jim (Chris) Loos, grandchildren: Brenda (Bob) Peryea, Bill Loos and Kayla Loos. She is also survived by one brother: Bill Klein and sisters: Muriel Miller and Arlene Olson. Nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends further survive Carol. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, and one sister: Antoinette. Services will be held on Thursday, June 16th, 6:00 PM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, Wisconsin. Visitation in Church on Thursday from 4-5:45 PM. Inurnment will take place at Norway Hill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Norway Lutheran Church.
