Mrs. Charlotte Naber Baumeister
January 17, 1927 — November 15, 2014
Charlotte (nee: Payleitner, Naber) Baumeister, age 87, of Burlington, passed away on November 15, 2014. She was born in Sheboygan, WI on January 17, 1927. Charlotte was one of the youngest girls in both the Milz and Payleitner families. In 1929, her family moved to Freeport, IL where she attended grade school. In 1940, the family moved to Burlington, WI and she graduated from Burlington High School in 1945.
Charlotte married Bob Naber on June 14, 1947 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Bob died of cancer in 1987. She was a bookkeeper for Burlington Farm Implement. In 1974 Charlotte became a rural route postal carrier.
On October 30, 1996, Charlotte married Ervin “Bud” Baumeister in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Charlotte is survived by her husband: “Bud”, her children: Joann (Mike) Hegemann of Elkhorn, WI, Ted (Denise Kretchmer) Naber of Burlington, Charles (Cathy Adams) Naber of Fort Atkinson, WI, David Naber and Andy Naber of Burlington; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her sister: LaVerne Maahs, brother: Charles R. (Edie) Payleitner of Darien, IL, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: Bob and four sons: Michael, Thomas, Ralph and Anthony.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 4-6 PM in the Funeral Home. Committal Services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery on State Street in Burlington at 11:00 AM. Please meet at the Cemetery.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Hospice Alliance Hospice House, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
