Mr. Donald R. North

North, Donald R. "Donny", age 66, of Waterford passed away in the presence of his loved ones on November 26, 2016 after a heart-felt battle with the blood disorder HHT.
Donny was born February 19, 1950, to Charles and Lorraine North. He was a graduate of Waterford Union High School and the University of Wisconsin Platteville. He owned and operated a dairy farm consisting of registered Guernsey cows for over twenty years, and later owned Plank Roads Services, a pasture management service. He served on the board of the Tri-County Guernsey Breeders and was a member of the Waterford FFA Alumni.

Donny was a man of the land, a diligent worker, a caring friend, an involved grandfather, and a calming presence for anyone who knew him. He loved card games, socializing, and helping out whoever needed it.
Donny is survived by his loving caregiver Linda, his daughter Heidi (Dan) Meier, his son Craig (Beth) North, his grandsons Doug Meier and Mitchell North, his brother Dennis (Eileen) North, sisters Sue Gall and Christine North, and by his nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lorraine North.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday December 2, 2016 from 4-7 PM in the Funeral Home with services starting at 7:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be distributed according to Donny’s wishes. In celebration of Donny’s life spend time with your family and friends.
