Kenneth E. Witt

Witt, Kenneth E. age 88, of Waterford, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 25, 2015 at Aurora St. Luke’s in Milwaukee, WI. Kenneth was born to Arthur and Norma (nee. Mann) Witt on October 11, 1926 in Milwaukee. He graduated high school before proudly serving his country in the Army Air Force in communications, stationed in the Aleutian Islands. On June 4, 1977 he married Janaan Marie Faherty in Milwaukee before moving to Waterford where they have resided for the past 38 years. Kenneth was a letter carrier for 30+ years and a proud member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Burlington. He liked playing cards, specifically sheepshead, woodworking and taking care of his yard. Most of all he loved his wife, children, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Janaan; four children: Brian (Kelly) Witt, Karen (Michael) Kosmider, Kristine (Mark) Roob, Gary (Ruth) Witt; nine grandchildren, six great- grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 9-11AM at St John’s Lutheran Church, 198 Westridge Ave., Burlington, WI with service starting at 11 AM. Burial will take place at 2PM on Thursday, July 2, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182. Please meet at the cemetery. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Kenneth’s family suggests memorials be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
