Mrs. Marie A. Dillon (Holm)

Dillon, Marie A. (nee. Bauer, formerly Holm) age 80, of Waterford, passed away on August 6, 2016 at Samaritan Health Care Center in West Bend. She was born in Wisconsin on March 6, 1936, the daughter of the late George and Eva (nee. Marschdorf) Bauer. She graduated high school in Milwaukee and furthered her education graduating from Cosmetology school. Marie married Gerald Holm in Milwaukee and the couple had four boys. Later in life she married Richard Dillon whom preceded her in death. Marie was retired from A-C Delco in Oak Creek where she had worked in assembly. She lived in the Milwaukee and Franklin areas, settling in Waterford in the mid 1990’s. Marie was a devote dog and cat lover, and an animal lover in general. She will be sadly missed by her children and family members. She now lives with animal friends in heaven.
Marie is survived by four sons: Gerald Jr., Thomas, David (Susan) and Daniel (Michelle) Holm; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; a brother: George Bauer and niece: Sharon; her first husband: Gerald; and by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her second husband: Richard Dillon and an infant sister: Pearl.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 4:00-5:30 PM with her grandson’s eulogy and prayer starting at 5:30 PM in the Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
