Mr. Robert BOB Hanson

Hanson, Robert L. Sr. “Bob” Age 76 of Rochester passed away at Memorial Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday October 16, 2012. Bob was born in Waterville, Maine the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Robinson) Hanson. He spent his early life in Baltimore Maryland and graduated Skowhegan High School in Maine, after high school he proudly served his country in the Navy. He married Julia M. Trick in Milwaukee on January 26, 1957 and the couple has lived in the Rochester area for the past 7 years. Bob was a graduate of MSOE in Milwaukee and was a Systems Engineer for IBM. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago where he served with the Knights of Columbus. Bob loved to Clown, also known as “Sunny the Clown” he worked many years with the Circus Parade in Milwaukee. He also enjoyed Bowling and Traveling. Survived by loving wife: Julia, Four Children: Laura (Dan) Schramke, Bob (Jackie) Jr., Peter Hanson & Lisa (Jeffrey) Bartig. Nine Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers John W. (Sandra) Hanson and Ralph (Claudia) Hanson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Proceeded in death by his parents and one sister Sandra. Memorial Mass 11:00 AM Saturday October 20th, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 307 South First Street (Hwy 20) Waterford. Visitation in church Saturday 9-11 AM. Military honors following Mass on Saturday. Mealy Funeral Home
