Mrs Alice Stanosz

Stanosz, Alice, Age 103, of Rochester, passed away on December 24th, Christmas Eve 2012, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Burlington. Alice was born in Milwaukee on October 14, 1909, the daughter of the late Peter and Blanche Nowakowski. On October 14, 1933 she married Joseph A. Stanosz. He passed away on May 21, 1967. The couple had lived in the Wind Lake and Rochester areas. Alice was a member of St. Thomas Church and she loved to fish and spend time up north with her husband and family. She is survived by her children: Patricia (James) Christensen, James (Donna) Stanosz, Carolyn Kempken and John (Veronika) Stanosz, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one brother: Gilbert Nowakowski, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter: Barbara, three grandchildren and her sister: Delphine. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street (Hwy 20), Waterford. Visitation in Church on Wednesday from 10-10:45 AM. Burial in the church cemetery following Mass. Family requests no flowers, and wishes memorials be given to the charity of choice.
