Ried, Barbara J., age 82, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2013. She was born on September 4, 1930 in Eagle, WI, the daughter of the late Edward and Bessie (nee. Halverson) Pease. She spent her early life in Waukesha and Pewaukee. Barbara had three daughters: Sherry, Kim and Susan. She worked as a CNA for many years and also worked as a waitress. She was a current member of East Troy Bible Church and in her younger days taught bible school. Barbara loved her birds and flowers and cheering for the Packers on Sundays. She was simply a “GREAT” Mother and Grandmother, she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters: Sherry (Steve) Chariton of Medford, WI and Kim (Bill) Pieters of Burlington, grandchildren: Shawn (Brittany) Chariton of Medford, Shannon (Chris) Ehrhardt of Hastings, MN, Sarah (Corey) Waskow of Billings, MT and Sabrina (Josh) Martin of Burlington, great-grandchildren: Alexander, Issaac Ehrhardt; Corin, Adeline, Peyton, Toby, Jubilee Waskow; Jed, Jax Martin. She is further survived by two sisters: Betty Stark and Bonnie (Carl) Riola and one sister-in-law: Lois Pease, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Susan Ried and two brothers: George and Jack Pease. Services will be held at East Troy Bible Church on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12:30 PM. A Memorial Gathering in Church prior to services from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Private Inurnment. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials to East Troy Bible Church.
