Beverly Brown

Brown, Beverly E. “Bev”, age 73, of Waterford, passed away at West Allis Memorial Hospital on February 14, 2013. Bev was born in West Allis on August 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Herman and Caroline Hartwig. She was a 1957 graduate of Nathan Hale High School. Bev was retired from NEL Lab, where she had worked for 24 years. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and was a Cub Scout Leader. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and always did them in ink! Bev loved to fish and spend time with nature. She also liked to bake. She is survived by her life partner for 38 years: Gary Schmidt, two children: “Bruno” (Doreen) Brown and Cindy (Paul) Dittman, grandchildren: Carrie, Brittany and Emily Buelow, and Heather Brown, great-grandchild: Madison Cotes, two sisters: Laverne Usarek and Carol Hook, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Norman and Herman. Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Lawrence Williams officiating. Visitation in the Funeral Home from 11 AM to 1:45 PM.
