Catherine M. "Cathy" Zimmerman

Zimmerman, Catherine M. “Cathy” Age 45 of Waterford formerly Kenosha, Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. Friday October 27th, 2006. Cathy was born in Kenosha Wisconsin August 12, 1961 to Casimir A. Rogowski & Joan D. (nee. Wisniewski) Rogowski. She was a graduate of Kenosha Bradford High School and UW Parkside. On June 30, 1984 she married Daniel D. Zimmerman at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Kenosha. Cathy and her family lived in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and then 4 years in Ann Arbor Michigan and moved to Waterford January 2006. Cathy’s greatest treasure was her two children Nicholas and Hannah. She enjoyed home schooling her children in Michigan, and spending quality time with them and her loving husband Daniel. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford. Cathy is survived by her beloved husband of 22 years Daniel, her precious children Nicholas and Hannah. Cathy is also survived by her mother Joan of Twin Lakes, Caring sisters: Helen (Greg) Hammer of Racine & Kris (Rob) Olsen of Twin Lakes. Also survived by her Mother-in-law Mary Ellen Traeger, and father in law David Zimmerman. Further survived by Sisters/Brothers in law: Theresa (Pat) Challe, Andrew (Kelly Burger-Zimmerman) & Melissa (Greg) Trinko. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cathy was preceded in death by her father Casimir A. Rogowski on June 10, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday November 2, 2006 at 10:00 A.M.at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 305 S. First Street (Hwy 20) Waterford. With burial at St. Thomas Cemetery following Mass. Visitation Wednesday November 1, 2006 4-8 P.M. at Mealy Funeral Home, with a prayer vigil at 8 P.M. Memorials are suggested to: “Catherine M. Zimmerman Memorial Fund” at Associated Bank of Waterford to benefit a college fund for her children Nicholas and Hannah or to “St. Thomas Building Fund” to help facilitate one of Cathy’s passions: The transformation of the stain glass windows from the old church to the new church.
