Mr. Cletus Roanhouse "Bud"

Roanhouse, Cletus W. “Bud” Age 87 of Waterford, passed away peacefully Saturday December 12th with loving family at his side at Tudor Oaks Care Center in Muskego. Born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin November 12, 1922 the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (nee. Gehring) Roanhouse. Bud was a graduate of St. Thomas Graded school of Waterford and Waterford Union High School. In April of 1948 he married Angela R. Epping. The couple lived in Waterford all of their life. Bud was a retired machinist from Waukesha Motor Works/Dressler and also spent much of his life working as a self-employed farrier working with many horse farmers in the SouthEastern parts of Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where he was an officer for St. Vincent DePaul and a co-founder of the St. Thomas Athletic Association. Bud also served as officer of the Waterford Softball League; He was a member of the Racine County Board for 26 years where he was chairman of the Public Works committee and Vice-Chairman of the County Board, and a charter member of the Rustic Roads committee’s of Wisconsin. Bud loved to spend time attending any and all of his grandkids sporting events and other activities. In his spare time Bud would spend some time fishing. He proudly served his country during World War II in the Berma-Malaysia-India “BMI” Theatre. Survived by loving wife Angie, Children: Thomas (Deb) Roanhouse, Ed Roanhouse, Rita (Chuck) Reynolds and Kim (Mike) Rosenthal all of Waterford. Grandchildren: John Roanhouse and Brian Barry, Greg (Amy) Roanhouse, Carrie Roanhouse, Matt (Fiance’ Kristi) Reynolds, Michelle (Corey) Breyne, Douglas, Robyn and Danielle Rosenthal. Great-Grandsons: Gavin and Mason. Two Sisters: Lorraine Rudolph and Arlene (Dave) Ryan, Brother-in-law: Stan (Lynn) Epping, further survived by other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Mother and Father-in-Law, Sister: Jean (George) Gibilian, Brother: Royce (Eugenia) Roanhouse, sisters-in-law: Marie (Henry) Thornquist and LeRoy (Jacqueline) Epping. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday December 17th 10:00 AM at ST. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 307 South First Street, Waterford (Hwy 20). Visitation in church Wednesday evening 4-8 PM. Burial following Mass on Thursday in St. Thomas Cemetery with military honors. IN lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Thomas School Endowment fund, or St.Thomas Athletic Association.
