Dorthea Larson

Dorthea A. “Dot” Larson (nee. Overson) Age 79 Passed away at Memorial Hospital on Friday April 7th with family by her side. She was born on the family farm in the Town of Dover January 25, 1928 to Allen and Annie (nee. Dillonaire) Overson. She attended Sunnyside School and graduated in 1945 from Rochester Ag School. On September 29, 1951 at English Settlement Church she married Leroy G. Larson whom survives her. She was a life long resident and farmer in the Town of Dover. Dot was a member of English Settlement church. Surviving is her husband Leroy, 3-daughters: Patricia (Bob Hensgen) Larson, Rose Larson and Kathy Larson. Further survived by 2 sisters-in-law: Oleta Lartz and Katherine Larson, Also survived by special friends Jeff Braatz and Sandy Schimek, other relatives and friends. Services Monday April 9, 2007 at 6:00 in the evening at English Settlement Church, 28215 Plank Road, Burlington, WI, Corner of Hwy J and Hwy A in the Town of Rochester. Visitation in church 4-6 Monday. Private family inurnment of Dot’s ashes will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.
