Ethel McKeen

McKeen, Ethel M. (nee. Frost) Age 81 of Rochester Passed away at Waukesha Memorial Hospital Wednesday October 25th, 2006. Ethel was born in Rochester on January 16,1925 to Dwight & Grace (nee. Sheard) Frost. She was a graduate of the Rochester Ag School. In July of 1945 in Mt. Morrison Colorado, Ethel Married George D. McKeen whom preceded her in death October 29, 1999. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Rochester, and a volunteer at North Cape School were she read to students. Ethel loved to bake and according to family and friends she made the best Sugar Cookies ever! She also sent cookies to help Iraqi Freedom troops. Her loving children survive her: Heather McKeen, Kathy (Jim) Kurth, Kevin McKeen, Colleen (Dwight) Bloohm, Kim (Nancy) McKeen, Courtney (Kelly) McKeen, Shelly (mark) Engel & Sean (Karen) Mckeen. Ethel was a terrific grandmother and adored her 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, of which she is survived by. Ethel leaves behind two sisters: Dorris Schaefer & Norma (Rich) Huckstorf, and one brother: Ralph (Jean) Frost, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, a son Kirk, a sister Virginia Henderson and a Brother Ralph Frost. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 29, 2006 at First Congregational Church of Rochester at 1:30 P.M. Visitation IN CHURCH Sunday 12-1 P.M. Sunday. Burial will follow services at Rochester Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Congregational Church of Rochester, and can be sent to P.O.
