Mr Harold Ellertson Sr.

Ellertson Harold W. Sr. Age 80 of Town of Norway Passed away at St. Luke’s Medical Center on Saturday February 23rd, 2008. He was born on the family’s farm in the Town of Norway April 28, 1927 the son of the late Howard and Merle (nee. Drought) Ellertson. A graduate of Waterford Union High School, and a craftsman and carpenter by trade. He taught and shared his skills with many family business adventures. Harold spent most of his life in the Town of Norway with 15 years spent in Sussex. Harold enjoyed card clubs and played in Wind Lake and Waterford along with his friends in Sussex. He is survived by his children: Barb (Don) Waldron, Judy Schmidt, Daughter in Law Sandy ,Linda (Dennis) Buttke, Jeff Ellertson, Merrie Clark, Willie Ellertson, Harold Jr.“Squeak”(Kelly) Ellertson & Jim Ellertson, further survived by Seventeen Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, along with one sister Janice Greil and long time special friend Jackie Landers. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Services are planned for Friday February 29, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. With Reverend Lawrence Williams officiating. Meet with the family in the funeral home Friday 3:30-6:30 P.M.
