Mr. James A. "Jim" Foat

Foat, James R. “Jim”, age 79, of Waterford, passed away at home on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Jim was born in Waterford on July 1, 1934, the son of the late Irving and Marie (nee. Hegemann) Foat. He spent his entire life in Waterford where he ran Foat’s Bait Shop on the Fox River. Jim loved to feed the ducks and to some he was known as the unofficial and uncontested “Mayor of Waterford”. Jim is survived by one sister: Grace (Bill Renfro) McMahon of Oklahoma, four nephews: Gary (Kim) Foat, Greg (Kathy) Foat, Grant Foat and Guy Foat. He is further survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
