Mr. James Russell Langan Sr.

Langan, James R. Sr, age 71, of Spring Prairie, WI, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on August 6, 2019. James was born to Russell and June (nee. Shurser) Langan in Lake Zurich, IL on February 20, 1948. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On October 26, 1971 he married Jeannie Janusz in Lake Zurich, IL. They’ve resided in Spring Prairie since 1986. James was employed by G.E. Medical working various jobs until his retirement. He was quite fond of classic cars, had owned a GTO in the past, and would attend car shows often. James deeply loved his family and would do anything for them, he will be dearly missed.
James is survived by his loving wife: Jeannie, two sons: James Anthony and Michael Paul; and one grandchild: Tyler Matthew.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held August 15, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at Community United Methodist Church, 455 S. Jefferson St., Waterford, WI 53185. Military honors will be conducted at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2PM.
