Mrs. Klara Hilgart (nee: Pilz)

Hilgart, Klara (nee: Pilz) age 83 of Wind Lake, Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side November 26, 2021. Klara was born to Josef and Franziska Nee: Urban) Pilz, December 19, 1937, in Nagyszollos, Hungry, where she grew up and graduated High School. Klara was 21when she came to America by boat which landed in New York before moving to the Milwaukee area in 1958. Klara started working at Briggs & Stratton as a laborer when she met the love of her life in Thomas A. Hilgart in 1968, and after their engagement would be married April 24, 1969. Klara liked to donate to several charity’s and was very patriotic, she became a citizen November 03, 1980. Klara loved children and always kept a vegetable garden that was always the talk of family and friends. One of Klara’s favorite charities was helping animals so the family is asking that in lieu of floral expressions of sympathy donations to Lakeland Animal Shelter would be apricated.
Klara is survived by her loving husband Tom; daughter: Elizabeth; two grandchildren: Christa (James) Grajek, Veronica (Andrew) Allar and one great grandson: Henry.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers, other nieces and nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday December 03 from 1-3 PM at St Clare Catholic Church 7616 Fritz Rd Wind Lake, a Funeral Mass will follow, with Father Ed Tlucek presiding. Private burial will take place at a later date.
