Greil, Lawrence J. “Larry” Age 75 of Waterford passed away with family at his side on Monday August 4, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Burlington. Larry was born on the family farm in Waterford October 7, 1932 the son of the late Peter and Matilda (nee. Muller) Greil. A graduate of Waterford High School he entered the Army were he was a paratrooper and he met Minnie at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. On December 22, 1954 the couple were married in Springfield Tennessee, and later celebrated the marriage at Fort Campbell. After serving his country Larry and his wife moved back to his hometown of Waterford. He was a long time business owner. Larry was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church and a former member of ST. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. In his younger days Larry was an avid hunter, He also enjoys playing cards, Bird Watching, Fishing, and most recently spending time at his computer. Survived by loving wife Minnie of Waterford, four sons: Bruce (Gloria) of Waterford, Michael (Dawn) of Gunter, Texas, Gregory (Deborah) of Waterford and Kevin (Michelle) of Frisco, Texas, Grandchildren: Amanda (Rick) Ross, Carrie (Robert) Zuber, Derek Greil, Brandy (Curt) Hegeman, Christopher (Sara) Greil, David Greil, Jamie Repa, Melissa Greil, Dustin Greil, Tiffany Greil & Karsten Greil. Great-Grandchildren: Hayley, Jackson & Collin. Also survived by sisters Helen (Ray) Wiza, Clara Lange & Pauline (Norm) Young, and Brothers: William and Joseph (Florence) Greil. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Gertrude, Anna & Emma, Brothers: John, Paul & Rudy Greil. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clare Catholic Church 7616 Fritz Street, Wind Lake on Saturday August 9th at 10:00 AM. Burial at St. Thomas Cemetery following Mass on Saturday, Visitation IN CHURCH Friday 4-7 PM. . In lieu of Flowers, memorials are suggested to American Heart Association or Cyberknife technology at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
