Lauretta Rose Vogt (nee. Hegemann) Age 91 of Burlington Formerly the Town of Lyons passed away October 11, 2007. She was born in Rochester Wisconsin on May 28, 1916 the daughter of John and Helena (nee. Degrave) Hegemann. She attended St. Mary’s and English Settlement schools and on October 3, 1942 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Burlington she married Edward J. Vogt whom preceded her in death August 23, 2001. Lauretta was a farmer and homemaker on the couple’s town of Lyons Farm for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lyons for many years. Survived by many nieces and nephews, special niece Dawn Dykstra, Special friend Dawn Zur and special neighbors John and Julie Koenen along with other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Vogt, siblings: Raymond, Minnie, Harry, Everett, Ralph, Elmer, Norbert and Eugene. Mass of Christian Burial Monday October 15th at 6:30 P.M. with Reverend John Baumgartner officiating. Visitation in Church Monday 4-6:15 P.M. Burial at ST. Mary’s Cemetery in Burlington on Tuesday October 16th at 10:00 A.M. please meet at the cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Pinebrook assisted living of Burlington.
