Ludwig, Leroy A. Wind Lake Age 89 Passed away at home with loving family at his side on Sunday December 2, 2007. Leroy was born in Hales Corners December 1, 1918 to the late John and Francis (nee. Waechter) Ludwig. He spent his early life in Hales Corners and on August 31, 1940 at Durham Hill Lutheran Church he married Florence Bushberger whom survives him. Leroy was a machinist by trade and was a member of Norway Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wind Lake, where he participated in Men’s Club, Dart Ball, ushering for services and served on the church council. He loved to travel. Leroy proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. Survived by loving wife of 67 years Florence, two children: Leanne Sievert and Colin Ludwig, Seven Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchildren, Sister: Marian Mellonig, Special devoted daughter in Law Barb Ludwig, Special friend of son Colin: Mar Haverkampf, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, one beloved son Kirt Ludwig, two brothers Lewis and Harold Ludwig. Services will be held Thursday December 6th 1:00 P.M. at Norway Evangelical Lutheran Church 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake with Reverend James Rasmus officiating. Visitation in church Thursday 11 am -12:45 p.m. Burial following services at Norway Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Norway Lutheran Church.
