Kocher, Margaret (Peggy) A. age 83 of Franklin WI formerly Scandinavia Wisconsin passed away on November 3, 2021, at Ascension SE Wisconsin Franklin Hospital with loving family at her side. Born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on May 22, 1938, the daughter of the late Horace and Marion (nee. Thon) Priest. She spent her early life in Wisconsin and was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac Wisconsin. On May 25, 1963, she married Bernell M. Kocher and the couple lived in Milwaukee for many years where Margaret was an Accountant and worked in H.R. for Rexnord of Milwaukee where she had retired. Margaret was a talented woman working on projects including Knitting and Crocheting. She was a library volunteer and a master gardener. She was simply: “Small but mighty, one feisty lady!” Her spiritual faith carried her through and frequently told people the Holy Spirit rides on my shoulder whispering in my ear! Sadly, missed by her husband Bernell and daughter Nancy along with other family and friends.
Survived by her husband Bernell Kocher, daughter Nancy Hauler, Grandchildren: Alex and Evan Hauler. Sister: Mary (Howard) Spies and brother; Edward (Judy) Priest, sister-in-law: Norann Kocher, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday November 20 from 11-11:45 AM, with the service starting at 12 PM, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 10388 State Highway 161, Amherst Junction, WI 54407. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorials to Habitat for Humanity, www.habitat.org 2302 DeKoven Ave. Racine, WI 53403.
