Marie F. Steidl

Marie F. Steidl, age 92, of Marinette, WI, (formerly of Waterford), left her earthly life on March 24, 2015 at the home of her daughter Ann Kramer of Marinette.
Marie was born on May 11, 1922 in Minnesota to the late Peter and Frances (nee. Barthold) Wolf. In 1941 she married Fredrick Steidl in Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford for well over 50 years. Marie, her husband Fredrick "Fritz" and son Charles worked a dairy farm on Hwy 83 for many years. She was very active in the 4H cooking and horse projects with her daughter Ann.
After the death of her husband "Fritz" in 1974, Marie stopped farming and worked at Trent Tube in East Troy, WI, retiring at the age of 72.
Marie is survived by her Son: Charles Steidl of West Allis; Daughter: Ann Marie (Robert) Kramer of Marinette and Foster Son: John "Johnny" Heins of Marinette (formerly of Waterford). She is further survived by her 5 Grandchildren: Rachael Steidl of Milwaukee, WO Andrew Ohlrich USMC (Chie) of San Diego, CA, Lucas Ohlrich of Marinette, Josh Ohlrich of Oslo Norway, and Matt Kramer of Marinette; two Great-grandsons: Ethan and Aiden Ohlrich of San Diego CA; two Brothers: William (Faye) Wolf of Wendell, NC and Robert (Ruthann) Koprek of Lowell, WI; Sister-in-law: Shirley Steidl of Lacey, WA; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: "Fritz"; Father: Peter Wolf; Mother: Frances Koprek; Step-Father: Andrew Koprek; Brothers: Peter Wolf and George Wolf, and Daughter-in-law: Patricia Steidl.
Marie was a hardworking loving woman and was of great faith. She has made an impact on everyone she met and will be greatly missed. Her true joys in life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 9-11 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 S. First St. Waterford. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Waterford.
