Mrs. Marion Pauline Kaufmann

Kaufmann, Marion Pauline (nee. Seegert) age 98, passed away on April 22, 2018 in Waterford, Wisconsin. She was born on December 14, 1919 in Mayville, WI to Charles and Theresa (nee. Arbinger) Seegert. The family later moved to Milwaukee where she met Howard E. Kaufmann and they were married on May 18, 1940. They bought a home on the west end of Pewaukee Lake and it was there that they raised three children: Karen, Howard II, and Janelle.
Marion worked at J.C. Penny’s warehouse for 15 years. After retirement, the couple sold their Pewaukee Lake home and bought residences in Waterford, Wisconsin and Sebring, Florida, living 6 months of the year in each. Upon Howard’s death in Florida on March 22, 1998, Marion sold the Florida residence and lived her remaining years in Waterford. During her life Marion enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and swimming.
Marion is survived by one daughter: Karen Titze, six grandchildren: Tyler Titze, Sally Knurr, Jennifer Schmid, Howard “Scott” Kaufmann III, Shellie Schroeder and Kristine Dominick ; nine great-grandchildren: Marion Titze, Karlee Knurr, Kody Knurr, Emily Schmid, Benjamin Schroeder, Kyle Schroeder, Jacob Schroeder, Jennifer Kirchoff and Andrew Dominick, along with one great-great-grandson. Further survived by other relatives, many good neighbors and friends including Mary, Donna, Nancy, and Holly.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband: Howard E. Kaufmann, two children: Howard “Butch” Kaufmann II and Janelle McFadden along with two grandchildren: Shayne Titze and Stephanie English along with one son-in-law LeRoy Titze and one grandson-in-law Nicholas Schroeder.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 7929 West Lincoln Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53219. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM (meet at the cemetery) at Holy Innocents Cemetery on Highway C in the Town of Merton.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
