Mr. Marlin M. Dunham

Dunham, Marlin M., age 83, of Burlington, passed away on January 23, 2013 at Vintage on the Ponds, Delavan, WI. He was born in Macoupin County, Illinois on December 24, 1929, the son of the late Maynard and Lucy (nee: Mowen) Dunham. He spent his early life in Macoupin County Illinois and Roseau, Minnesota. As a member of the Army he proudly served his country during the Korean War. On January 4, 1953 he married Sadie Marie Bakken in Roseau, Minnesota; the couple lived until 1995 in Kenosha when they moved to Burlington. He was an Electrical Maintenance worker at Dynatec Eaton Corporation, where he was also an Electrical Supervisor. He was a member of Norway Lutheran Church where he was an usher and played dartball. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting. Marlin is survived by two children: Michael Dunham of Ettrick, WI and LuAnn (Greg) Himebauch of East Troy; grandchildren: Shawn Himebauch of East Troy, Jami (Brad) Pieniazek of Trevor , Traci Himebauch of East Troy, and Ben Himebauch of East Troy, two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Brandyn, Sisters and Brothers: Thelma Scroggins of Mulberry Grove, Ill, Charles(Marilee)Dunham of Bristol WI, Raymond(Anita) Dunham of Grand Forks, North Dakota and Winifred Dahl of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sadie, one brother and five sisters. Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake Wisconsin. Visitation prior to services in Church from 10 - 11:45 AM on Monday. Burial to follow services in the church cemetery.
