Mr. Martin "Marty" Bakke

, Martin E. “Marty” Age 40, of Fort Atkinson, formerly of the Waterford area, died due to a tragic motorcycle accident in Jefferson County on July 6, 2011. Martin was born in Burlington, Wisconsin the son of Paul Bakke and Sharon Henningfield. He attended Union Grove Christian School and St.Thomas Graded School along with Waterford Union High School. Marty was a CNC Machinist for Whitewater Manufacturing. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping and most of all, the outdoors. He is survived by his Fiancé: Julie Gapp of Fort Atkinson, parents: Paul (Mary) Bakke, Two sons: Zachariah and Levi, maternal grandparents: Louis (Bernie) Henningfield, two uncle’s Gil (Lorraine) & Dave (Kay) Bakke along with cousins and many friends. Proceeded in death by his Mother: Sharon, Brother Steven, and his Paternal Grandparents: Martin and Lydia Bakke. Services will be held Tuesday, July 12th at 1:00 PM at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, Wisconsin 53185. Visitation will be held in church Tuesday 12to1:00 PM. Inurnment will take place following services at Norway Hill Cemetery. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Norway Lutheran Church.
