Seidel, Mary Ann, Age 95, of Waterford, passed away July 3, 2011 at Waterford Senior Living. Mary Ann was born in Salem, Wisconsin on May 15, 1916, the daughter of the late Curt F. and Mary (nee.Nienhaus) Luetten. Her early life was spent in Burlington where she attended St. Charles Graded School and graduated from Burlington High School. On November 13, 1943 she married Raymond F. Seidel at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Mary Ann had worked as a clerk at Pieters Bros. and Rittman’s Department Stores and also waitressed at Rivermoor Country Club. She was a member of St. Thomas Church and the ladies guild. In her later years she volunteered with the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Mary Ann was a charter member of the Waterford Lioness Club. She enjoyed baking, canning, sewing, knitting, reading and traveling. She is survived by two children: Jeanne (Bob) O’Connell and Rick (Cindy) Seidel, five grandchildren: Steve (Meg), Karen, Tom O’Connell, Tim (Fiancé Jess) and Jill Seidel. Her sisters: Evelyn Otto, Lucille Frederick, Jane (Chuck) Siegler and Rita Graul, along with brother: Roger Luetten and sister–in-law: Louann Luetten, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, brother: Ralph Luetten, sister: Aileen Luetten, brothers-in-law: Dale Otto, Alvin Frederick, Bob Graul, and Bob Seidel. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 307 South First Street (Hwy 20), Waterford. Visitation will be in church on Friday from 9:30 until time of Mass. Inurnment will take place following Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to: Aurora Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the Wisconsin Lions Camp.
