Mrs. Michelle M. Machalik(neeKrien)

Machalik, Michelle M. (nee. Krien) age 59, of Waterford, formerly of Burlington, passed away at home on March 23, 2022. Michelle was born in Burlington, December 31,1962, the daughter of Paul and Nancy (nee. McCarthy) Krien. She grew up in Burlington where she graduated high school. On April 26, 1991, she married James R. “Jim” Machalik in Racine, Wisconsin. Michelle was an aide for 20 years at Southern Wisconsin Center in Union Grove from where she had retired due to a disability. Michelle enjoyed crafting, reading, and spending cherished time with the folks at the Rochester Library. Michelle especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survived by her father Paul Krien, husband Jim Machalik, children, Kelsey, and Tyler Machalik. Also survived by her siblings, Mike (Linda) Krien, Bob (Geri) Krien, Kori (Jack) Stork, and Pat (Holly) Krien, along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Krien.
Memorial services will be held later.
The family thanks the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Aurora Clinic in Burlington for their professional and personal care of Michelle during this difficult time.
