Rita M. Kinnard

April 8, 1936 — April 27, 2007

PLEASANT PRAIRIE - Rita Marie (nee: Linders) Kinnard, 71, formerly of Waterford, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007, at Hospice House after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in West Depere on April 8, 1936, to Henry and Johanna (nee: Raymakers) Linders. She had lived in West Depere until 1969 at which point she and her family moved to Waterfored. She attended St. Boniface School and graduated from Nicolet High School. She was an Assembler at ECM for 15 years until she retired in 2001. She was also a Homemaker for 28 years. Rita raised seven children by herself. She overcame many obstacles along the way and was always there for anyone needing a friend. She faced cancer with a strength and courage that was nothing short of amazing. She loved a good laugh, television and she especially loved the Green Bay Packers (Brett Favre). She also loved her friends, family, grandchildren and great-grandson. She was greatly loved and admired by all who knew her. Her leaving creates a void that will never be filled. She is survived by her daughters, Pam of Lyons, Lori of Madison, Amy (Bonnie Hutchinson) of Beloit, Kris (Jeff Koenig) of Burlington and Patti (Dean Tschumper) of Lone Rock; her sons, Michael (Debra) of Racine and Kelly; her grandchildren, Nash, Megan, Alex, C. Henry, Kimera, Jacob and Becky; her great-grandson, Aidan; and her brothers, Ignatius 'Spike' (Phyllis) of Depere and Delmer (Ruth) of Florida. She is further survived by countless friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roger, Ken and Al; and one daughter, Margaret Mary, at birth in 1964. Funeral services will be private per her request. Also per her request, cremation has taken place. Memorials should be made in Rita's name to PANCAN or Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic. The family wishes to thank Dr. Haider and his staff at the Oncology Alliance, Dr. Ellingstad and the staff and volunteers at the Hospice House for their wonderful care and compassionate treatment of our Mom.
