Dufek, Robert A., “Bob”, age 81, of Waterford, (formerly of West Allis) died of cancer March 7, 2013. Bob was born in Milwaukee on November 30, 1931, the son of the late Charles and Leona (nee. Fischer) Dufek. He was a graduate of Boys Tech. He served in the Army for three years in Korea and Japan. On May 28, 1982 he married Liane E. Stych. The couple lived in West Allis for six years and moved to Waterford in 1988. Bob was employed for 41 years as a lineman and field coordinator at Wisconsin Electric. He was President of the Board of Directors EMBA 1978, a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and a Boy Scout leader for many years. He enjoyed camping with the family and traveled extensively in the US and Mexico. Bob loved gardening and heating his house with wood. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years: Liane, children: Mark (Melanie), Janet (Bob) Rewolinski, Sandra (Steve) Valdovinos, Kathaleen (Terry) Maier, Carl (Barbara), Constance (Robert) Triantafelo, James (Jeanne) and Matt (Holly), step-children: Michael, Jill and Paul Stych, 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings: Jerry (Ethel), Chuck (Rita), Greg (Sue) Dufek, along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Audrey son: Erik, brother: Marvin, sister: Patricia Frinzi, and stepdaughter: Kristin Stych. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street (Hwy 20) Waterford. Visitation prior to Mass in Church on Saturday from 9-10:45 AM. Due to time restrictions for the Church this day, the visiting line will conclude promptly at 10:45 AM, please arrive early.
