Murphy, Rosemary “The Queen” Age 91 of Waterford Celebrated her NEW life December 4, 2009. Born in Montello Wisconsin on October 13, 1918 the daughter of the late Leo and Veronica Wall. Rosemary was a Montello High School graduate and also attended nursing school. On May 23, 1940 in Milwaukee she married LeRoy J. Murphy whom preceded her in death August 15, 1998. LeRoy served our country in the Army Engineers. Rosemary and LeRoy owned and operated Cudahy imports for over 40 years, buying and selling cars and motorcycles. She was a member of the Black Panthers Motorcycle Club and Holy Name Catholic Church; Rosemary loved to shop till you drop! Rosemary also enjoyed playing cards especially cribbage, and collecting Recipe’s and cooking…But mostly she was kind compassionate tolerant person, a good role model, and touched the hearts of all whom knew her. Survived by one daughter Colleen (David) Wojciechowski of Tichigan Lake/Waterford area. Grandchildren: Carolyn, Andrew, Adam, Marissa and Kyle. Great-grandchildren: Elizabeth and Robert. Preceded in death by her parents, husband LeRoy, Son Lynn, Granddaughter Nicole, and Brothers: Wilfred, Leon, Robert and John, and special friend Maynard Mewis. Memorial Services Wednesday December 9th, 2009 2:00 PM with a visitation 1-2 PM in the funeral home. Private family inurnment at Woods National Cemetery in Milwaukee next to her husband LeRoy.
