Mrs. Yvonne Marie Noel

Noel, Yvonne M., age 82, of Waterford, passed away March 15, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Yvonne was born in Milwaukee on August 17, 1936 to Carl and Bertha (nee. Grandnijette) Newman. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Notre Dame High School. Yvonne met the love of her life, Larry Dean Noel, and after a long engagement they were married at St. Anthony’s Church in Milwaukee. They lived in the Milwaukee area and Yvonne worked in the office at Allen Bradley for many years. After Larry died, Yvonne moved to Waterford where she joined St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was an integral part of the bereavement committee. She was an avid reader, and loved to travel, especially to visit relatives. She loved to spend time with her grandson and knit hats which she would donate to various charities. She enjoyed attending charity events, whether it was working at them or socializing. Yvonne had a vibrant personality, she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by daughter: Sue (Bill Saunders) Noel, Son-in-Law: Tom Sherman, grandson: David Sherman, brother: Harry (Jeri) Newman, sister: Joan Cage, sister-in-law: Marilyn Newman and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Larry, daughter Bonnie, and brother Howard Newman.
In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy Yvonne's family suggests memorials to "St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church" or "American Cancer Society".
Family wishes to thank the staff in the ICU at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington and Dr. Otten for all the compassion and care they had for Yvonne during her time there.
