Mrs. Beatrice Ann Lorum

Lorum, Beatrice Anna, of Waterford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the age of 88, in Union Grove WI. The daughter of Frank and Anna Pogozelski, Beatrice was born on August 16, 1926 in Town of Lake, WI. She spent her early life in Milwaukee where she graduated from Bay View High School. She was married to Philip Lorum in October of 1953 in Chicago, IL. After marriage they lived in Cudahy, WI., where they raised their 3 children. Beatrice lived in Waterford since 2004.
Beatrice enjoyed reading, animals, gardening, cooking, and traveling, but most of all loved to spend time with her family.
Beatrice is survived by her children Charles (Sheila) Lorum, Philip (Kimberly) Lorum and Anne Lorum. She is further survived by her 7 grandchildren; Charlie, Nathan, Amber, Philip, Daniel, Nicholas and Emily, and her 3 great grandchildren; Grady, Drew, and Isabelle. Also survived by her sister Irene Nowak.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Pogozelski, her husband Philip Lorum and her 2 sisters Evelyn and Adeline.
There will be a memorial gathering for Beatrice on November 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home – 225 W. Main St. Waterford, WI 53185 with a prayer service to follow at 6:00 PM at Mealy Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
