Cara Rogers

July 2, 1949 — February 3, 2026

Cara Regina Rogers, 76 years old of Rochester, WI, formerly of Racine, WI passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was born July 2, 1949 to the late Robert and Betty Gerber. Cara was a 1966 graduate of Racine Horlick High School and continued to live in Racine and work at Bucyrus-Erie for many years. On December 11, 1982, Cara was united in marriage with Mark Rogers and was a devoted wife for 43 years. She was an active member of the Honey Creek Cemetery board and a proud supporter of the US troops, often providing homemade gift packages. Cara was known for her kindness and generosity and spunky attitude. She was happiest in her many gardens, researching her vast family history through genealogy, and snuggling her darling grandchildren. Cara will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, husband, daughters, and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include, her husband, Mark Rogers; daughters, Cortney (Brandon Gumm) Rogers and Kelly (Matthew) Ranke; grandchildren, Addison and Quinn Gumm and Miles and Kennedy Ranke; and a host of beloved relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Cara was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy; and brother, Bob.

A Celebration of Life will be held 12PM-4PM Saturday March 21, 2026 at BRUNO'S RESTURANT (730 Cornerstone Crossing Waterford, WI 53185).
