Tuesday, January 2, 2024, the angels flew Catherine home to heaven at the age of 81 years. She was born on the family farm on April 18, 1942, to Francis and Leona (Haig) Buckett. She is survived by her husband Peter Greeley for 35 years, son Cliff (Deb) Peterson, stepdaughters Heather (Scott) Frank, Kristan Pawlick, grandma of Kayla Frank, Emma and Cora Pawlick, Erin and Taylor Baumgart, William Peterson and Michelle (Peterson) Watson, great-grandmother of Odin and Averie.
She grew up on the family farm east of Waterford, attended St. Thomas, Rochester High School, she graduated from Waterford Union High School, she went on to college to become a teacher.
She taught at North Cape School for 45 years. Peter and Catherine operated the Caldwell Store for 50 years.
Visitation will be held 9AM-11:45AM Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Cotton Exchange Plantation Hall (345 Hickory Hollow Rd. Waterford, WI 53185), with a funeral service to follow at 12PM.
