It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Deborah Stolzenburg of Hartford, WI at age 39. Wife of Nathaniel Stolzenburg. Mother of Richard "Richie", Jace, Zoey and Joseph. Daughter of Richard and Lisa Bertnick. Granddaughter of Walter Bertnick and Rita Lindahl. Sister of Melissa (Robert) Sund, Joseph (Lacey) Bertnick and Nicole (Daniel) Simmerman. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

Debbie was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She grew up in Waukesha, WI and graduated from Waukesha North High School. After high school Debbie pursued a career in the United States Air Force. Debbie had different careers throughout her life. Her favorite was being a resource counselor. Debbie truly loved making a positive impact on people's lives. Deborah was a very creative person, often hand crafting beautiful things for people she loved. She enjoyed art, crocheting and music. Deborah will be missed by many, but the love and compassion she showed to every person she ever met will forever have an impact on their lives. 

Visitation will be held 10AM-11AM Thursday, June 20, 2024 at SHIMON FUNERAL HOME (824 Union St. Hartford, WI 53027), with a funeral service to follow at 11AM. Inurnment 10AM Friday, June 21, 2024 at Prairie Home Cemetery (605 S. Prairie Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186).
