Eleanor Zdanowski

Eleanor Zdanowski went to her Eternal Life Fri. Jan 30,2026 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents and three brothers, Edward Balcer, Joseph Balcer and Gerald Balcer. Survivors include three children, Linda Burk of Prescott Valley AZ, Michael (Nancy) of Mishawaka, IN, and Richard (Kathy) of Salem WI; Five grandchildren, Maurine (Rick) Walter East Troy WI, Marcia (Larry) Bartlett Germantown, WI, David (Kari) Zdanowski Bristow VA, Andrea (Eric) Williams Bristow, VA, and Kelley (Matt) Sacomano Lake Villa IL; and four great grandchildren, Ainsley Zdanowski, Ayla Zdanowski, Peyton Williams, and Ethan Williams, all of Bristow VA. Eleanor was born in Mosinee, WI on April 22, 1927 to Joseph and Angeline Balcer. She married John Zdanowski, Jr on January 24, 1948 at St. Stan’s in Racine WI. They raised their family in West Allis. Eleanor worked as a Manager for Quality Candy in West Allis while being a loving mother and wife. After John retired they moved to Waterford WI and were members of St Thomas Aquinas. The family would appreciate memorials to St Thomas Aquinas in lieu of flowers. 

Visitation will be held 10:30AM-11:15AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY (305 S. 1ST STREET WATERFORD, WI 53185), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30AM.
