Born to Eternal Life Tuesday, January 3, 2023 with loved ones at his side at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Rosalie “Rosie” (Nee Orlowski). Loving pops of Dale (Janet), Cheryl (Jodi), Andy (Mary Ann) and Gary (Lisa). Fun loving gramps of Julie (Matt) Norris, Laura (Evan) Swindle, Mary Rose, Sarah, Margaret and Jacob Nemeth. Great-gramps of River Norris and baby Swindle due 6/23. Caring brother of Penelope (Ronald) Chevalier, brother in law of Roberta Flitsch, Ruth Wandery, Justine Cheever.
Erv was preceded in death by his parents Julius (Viola), and brother Richard "Rick" (Jill), sister-in-law Barbara (John) Zawacki, brother-in-laws John Wandery, Albert Cheever and Daniel Flitsch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Erv was a custodian for Milwaukee Public Schools for many years. Rose and Erv loved to go on short trips, shopping and out for dinner. Erv took interest in magic and trains over the years. Retirement enhanced his love for classic cars- participating in many car shows and winning 1st place.
Visitation will be held 9AM-10:45AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at ST. CHARLES BORRMEO PARISH (3100 W. Parnell Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53221), with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all who helped Erv through is last leg of the journey home.
