Frederick Barron

Frederick Thomas Barron of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Fred was born on October 5, 1948, to Ida Powell and William Barron.

Fred was a simple man who found joy in the things that made him happy. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, taking walks, and spending time outside enjoying the day. A devoted Milwaukee Brewers fan, he never missed an opportunity to talk about the team or cheer them on. Known for his colorful language and sometimes cranky nature, Fred had a personality that was unmistakably his own and often brought a smile to those who knew him best. He did not need much, and he lived his life his own way, true to himself.

Fred is survived by his children, Julie (Tony) Brown and Amy (Chad) Rummel. He was the proud grandfather of Kailee Brown, Sydney Brown, Isabelle Rummel, and Blake Rummel. He is further survived by his siblings, Alan Barron and Sharon Rollins, as well as his companion, Pat Roth, and other family and friends.

The family has chosen to remember him privately.
