George Frank Bauer

George Frank Bauer 87, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, in Franklin, WI at the Elizabeth Residence.

George was born on January 24, 1939. He resided in Milwaukee and New Berlin before settling in Waterford in 1987. He worked for 68 years with Plumbers Union Local 75 before retiring in 1996. George will be remembered for his timely jokes and wonderful sense of humor, his love of music, playing harmonica with various groups, fishing, and canoeing.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Eva Merschdert and George Bauer; his sister Marie Holm (Richard Dillon); his daughter, Sharon Jaskie (Craig Jaskie); his granddaughter, Leah Jaskie; and his nephew, Gerald Jr.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Kimberly Stein (Patrick) and Calvin Jaskie; great-grandchildren, Dominic and Lillianna; and nephews Thomas, David (Susan) and Daniel (Kimberly), along with other extended family members.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at the Elizabeth Residence and to all the nurses who cared for George with kindness.
