Mr. Herbert Moreland Biermann

Biermann, Herbert Moreland, age 80, of Oak Creek, formerly of Muskego, and New Mexico, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2023. Herb was born in Milwaukee on March 6, 1942, the son of the late Myron and Dorothy (nee. Moreland) Biermann. He attended UW Madison and UW Whitewater, received a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in special education. On December 16, 1995, in Eau Claire Wisconsin he married Janice Ann (nee. Brown) Saltzmann. The couple lived in Burlington for some time, 15 years in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, then returned to Wisconsin in 2017 where they have resided in senior living homes. Herb was a member of Norway Lutheran Church and the Milwaukee area Shriners. He loved cooking for his wife and friends, and especially loved spending time in the company of his many dogs.
Survived by his wife Janice A. (nee. Brown, formerly Saltzmann) Biermann and her six children, Ron, Sue Sandy, Sharon, Sindy, Stephanie, and their spouses; his three daughters, Sigrid, Elizabeth, and Adele; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Mark.
Visitation at Norway Lutheran Church, 6321 Heg Park Road, Wind Lake, WI 53185 on Wednesday January 11, 2023, from 10 AM - 10:55 AM. Church Services will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial at Caldwell Cemetery at 2:00 PM, public may attend.
