Janice Knuth

Janice Helene Knuth (nee. Wirth), passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 74 after a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. Jan was born in Milwaukee in 1949 to Frank and Pearl (nee. Lenz) Wirth. Jan grew up in Milwaukee and attended St Rose Orphanage and Riverside High School.

Jan enjoyed antiques, flea markets and all things Betty Boop. She was known for her generosity and sense of humor. She volunteered for St Vincent DePaul and was also an avid animal lover. Jan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kevin, daughters Jody Pogorzelski and Stacy Phillips, grandchildren Shane and Jordyn and many dear friends and family. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and brother Michael.

A celebration of Jan’s life will take place on Saturday, October 28th and Sunday, October 29th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to Make-A-Wish Foundation or your favorite animal shelter in Jan’s memory. Please hug the ones you love. You will wish you could have when they are gone.
