Joseph J. Harry

Joseph J. “Joe” Harry passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Joe was born on November 13, 1937, in Wisconsin, the son of the late John C. and Johanna M. (Daniszewski) Harry. He was proud to graduate from Rochester Agricultural School. On May 30, 1958, he married the love of his life, Lois J. Hegeman, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford, Wisconsin, beginning a marriage that spanned more than six decades.

In his younger years, Joe enjoyed woodworking and later developed a passion for gardening. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and could often be found cheering on his beloved team. Joe will always be remembered for his quick wit, practical jokes, and ability to bring laughter to those around him. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Joe is lovingly survived by his sons, John, Jim (Kim), Leonard (Debi), and Joe Harry; daughter-in-law, Carol Harry; grandchildren, Andrew (Taylor), Erica (Jack), Matthew, Madelyne, Eli, Sam (Ashtyn) Harry, and Tito (Stephanie) Guardiola; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Tanner, Emery, Rory, and Ruby; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois; parents; daughter, Patricia; son, Mike; and grandson, Noah.

Private family burial with a committal service will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery in Waterford, Wisconsin.
