Lenore Marie Busack

November 11, 1944 – August 15, 2025

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Lenore Marie (Krzywkowski) Busack, age 80, from Waterford, WI. She was called to eternal life the morning of August 15, 2025, while surrounded by her family.

Lenore was born on November 11, 1944, in Cudahy, WI, to the late George and Millie (Stelter) Krzywkowski, who lovingly referred to her as “Sugar”. Lenore attended Holy Family Grade School and was a 1963 graduate of Cudahy High School.

She devoted her life to her family and is survived by her loving husband, Alan Busack, and to their three daughters, Jenny Heckler, Laura Huebel, and Julie Leslie. Her pride and joy extended to her 11 grandchildren, each of whom she loved and celebrated endlessly. She is survived by her loving siblings, Richard Krzywkowski, Annette Krzywkowski, Christine Bruesewitz, and Valerie Malzacher. She is also cherished by many other extended family members and friends.

For many years, Lenore worked as the attendance secretary at Greenfield High School, where she not only kept things running smoothly but also brightened students’ and staff members’ days with her kindness, humor, and genuine care. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, and she carried that gift into every corner of her life.

Lenore was a vibrant presence whose laughter filled the room, and her loving smile brought joy to all her family and friends. She had an incredible way of making everyday moments feel special—whether through laughter shared around the kitchen table, watching favorite family movies, or singing songs around a campfire. She had a story for every occasion and delighted in recounting the experiences that shaped her life. Her ability to form deep connections with her family was her greatest legacy. She will be missed beyond measure but remembered with joy, laughter, and love.

A celebration of Lenore’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Cotton Exchange (345 Hickory Hollow Rd, Waterford, WI 53185) with visitation starting at 10a.m. and memorial service at 12p.m. Lunch will follow the service.

To honor Lenore’s memory, the family suggests donations be directed to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America https://alzfdn.org/ which holds special importance to them.
