Marcia Bartz

Marcia Bartz, age 90, of Waterford, WI, passed away peacefully into God’s loving care on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Marcia was born at home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on January 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Leo and Lucy (Rotta) Kozlowski. She married the love of her life, Wayne Bartz, in September 1961 at St. Stanislaus Church in Milwaukee. Together they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage, built on love, faith, and devotion to one another. They have been longtime members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Faith Community.

Marcia was the beloved wife of Wayne; a loving and amazing mother to Greg (Ellie) Bartz and Diane Countey; and a cherished grandmother to Haley (Brandon) Pals. She is further survived by her sister, Dorothy Peissig; sister-in-law, Maureen Quin; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Marcia’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Faith Community, 305 S. 1st Street, Waterford, WI 53185. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery in Waterford.
