Marty Gerard McCabe

Jun 25, 1967 — Oct 24, 2026

Marty Gerard McCabe, 59, of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, passed away on October 24, 2026.

Marty was born on June 25, 1967, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, to Robert F. “Bob” and Janet C. (Loeffelholz) McCabe. He grew up in Cuba City, where he spent much of his life before eventually making his home in Manitowoc with his longtime fiancée, Angie Hahn.

Marty was someone who never knew a stranger and could make a friend just about anywhere. He enjoyed good company, sharing stories, and spending time with the people around him. A devoted Wisconsin sports fan, Marty loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. He could play a mean game of darts or pool, enjoyed woodworking, and loved both playing the drums and listening to live music. He also looked forward to going up north with the guys. Whether sharing a laugh with friends, watching a game, or lending a hand with a project, Marty appreciated life's simple pleasures. He was always willing to help someone in need and could be counted on to lend a hand whenever he was able.

Marty is survived by his children, Kaci (Samantha) Knox and Keean (McKenzie) Paltz; his longtime fiancée, Angie Hahn; her sons, Donovan (Madison) and Tyler Krueger; and Donovan's daughter, Kinzley. He is also survived by his siblings, Sharon (Andy) Probst, Peggy Wojtal, Mark (Ernest Green) McCabe, Kelly Kieler, Lori McCabe, and Mike McCabe; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. “Bob” and Janet C. McCabe.

Marty will be remembered for his friendship, generosity, and willingness to help others, as well as the laughter and memories he shared with those who knew him.

A celebration of Marty's life is being planned for the spring or summer of 2027 in Cuba City, Wisconsin. Additional details will be shared as arrangements are finalized.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes cards, shared memories, or, for those who wish, contributions toward a celebration of Marty's life. These may be sent to the Casey-McNett Funeral Home at 123 N. Jackson St, Cuba City, WI 53807.
