Mrs. Mary M. Mainus

Mainus, Mary M. age 57, of Muskego, passed away on May 18, 2023. Mary was born in Waukesha, WI on May 4, 1966, the daughter of John Francis and Rita (nee. Wood) Lufkin. A graduate of Muskego High School, she spent most of her working life in medical billing. On May 13, 2000, she married Steven J. Mainus. The couple lived in Muskego where Mary enjoyed bowling and golf. Mary and her family loved to attend Brewer games. Mary’s most cherished time was spent with her family.
Survived by her loving husband Steven, and daughter Courtney (Curtis) Schwab. Also survived by her father John Francis Lufkin, by siblings, Shelby (Gary) Styne, Kathy (Bill) Herrema, Roberta (Marty) Kintop, Rosalie Scaffidi, and brother-in-law Kurt Lembke. Mary is survived by her Mother-in-Law Fran Mainus and Brother/Sister-in-Law: Tom (Dawn) Mainus. Also survived by 35 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with cousins, other relatives, and countless friends.
Preceded in death by her mother Rita, father-in-law Stanley Mainus, sister Christine Lembke, brother-in-law Bob Scaffidi, niece Michelle Styne, and nephew Paul Poznanski.
Memorial Gathering will be held on May 27, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 305 South First Street, Waterford, WI 53185, from 9-11:00 AM. Mass will begin at 11:00 AM.
