Maryann Dietz, a beloved wife, a loving mother, and a cherished Nonni, passed away Friday, March 13, surrounded by family.
For over 50 years, she shared a beautiful and enduring marriage with her husband, Greg. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, love, and family, creating a home where everyone felt welcome and cared for.
Maryann also dedicated over 25 years of her life to serving as a Catholic school teacher, where she touched countless young lives. Her classroom was a place of kindness, encouragement, and strong values, and she remained a beloved figure to many of her former students long after they had left her care.
She was a proud and devoted mother to her sons, Mike (Nikki), Patrick (Meghan), and Tim (Julie), whom she loved beyond measure. She embraced her daughters-in-law as her own, forming deep and meaningful bonds with each of them. Nothing brought her greater joy than being Nonni to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She celebrated their every milestone, big or small, and filled their lives with affection, wisdom, and delicious meals.
An exceptional cook, Maryann, expressed her love through food. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where family gathered, traditions were passed down, and memories were made. Her recipes—and the love behind them—will live on through all who were lucky enough to share in them.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her strength, and her love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the family she cherished so deeply.
A life so beautifully lived leaves a lasting imprint on every heart she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
