Mr. Michael Heinzen

May 5, 1955 — September 8, 2010

Heinzen, Michael H., age 55, of Waterford, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2010. He was born in Sheboygan on May 5, 1955, the son of Richard and Ramona (nee. Megal) Heinzen. He graduated Franklin High School, then continued on to MATC in pursuit of a business degree. From 1973 to 1977, he proudly served his country in the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Michael and Christine A. Bragdon were married on February 28, 1981 in South Milwaukee. He was Vice President of Operations for SRS Roofing and Sheet Metal in Waterford, and was a member of the Local Roofers Union. A true outdoorsman, he spent much time hunting, fishing and camping. Survived by his loving wife: Christine, daughters: Sarah (Andy) Matt and Jessica (Pat) Lietzke, grandchildren: Ryan and Trevor, his mother: Ramona, mother-in-law: Terri Bragdon, sisters and brothers: Barbara (Jim) Newton, Gary (Nina) Heinzen, Pattie (Mark) Gerasch, Eric Heinzen and Steven (Beth) Heinzen, sister-in-law: Karen Kaczanowski, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many and friends. Preceded in death by his father: Richard, sister: Jeanne Heinzen, and father-in-law: Eugene Bragdon. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 6:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Visitation in the Funeral Home, Wednesday, 2 PM to 5:45 PM. Military Honors will be held at The Bunker in Waterford following services.
