Michael “Mike” Rajchel, age 81, passed away on October 30, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mike was born on January 14, 1945, to the late Joseph and Leokadya Rajchel. A lifelong Milwaukee resident, he graduated from South Division High School in 1963. On July 17, 1965, he married the love of his life, Darlene (Hilbert), and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.
Mike was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene; his children, Brian (Ann) Rajchel, and Michelle (Allen) Tucker; his grandchildren, Joshua (Caitie) Tucker, Megan (Cody) Gantz, Dan Rajchel, Anthony (Hailey) Rajchel, and Brianna Rajchel; and his great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Tucker, Henry, and Lydia Gantz, and Rhett and Stetson Tucker. Further survived by his sister, Darlene, and brothers, Alan and Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Patrick and Richard.
Throughout his life, Mike was known for his patient and caring nature. He was the kind of person who would always be there for anyone who needed a helping hand. Mike enjoyed staying active and was a talented bowler and softball player. He enjoyed coaching kids, sharing his love of the game, and encouraging others along the way. He worked at A.O. Smith for many years and later at St. Elizabeth before retiring.
Mike enjoyed his retirement years the most. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of being at home, watching sports, reading, playing Sheepshead and pool, and spending time with family. A loyal Brewers fan, he was especially thrilled to see them win the World Series.
Mike leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his guidance, wisdom, and the countless memories they shared. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Until we meet again in our heavenly home.
We love you, Dad.
