Mona Rae Jacobs

Mona Rae Jacobs (Nee Luepke), 59 years old of Waterford, WI passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at her home. She was born August 11, 1965 to the late Donald and Rita (Young) Luepke in Green Bay, WI. Mona attended Bay Lane Middle School in Muskego, WI and went on to graduate from Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL. On May 4, 1991, she was united in marriage with her husband, Terry and they spent 34 wonderful years together. Mona worked at Edstrom Industries, Inc., St. Peter’s Lutheran Pre-School, Homestead Daycare and Holy Apostles until 2021. She had a passion and love for teaching, especially young children and she enjoyed sharing the crafts she made with loved ones. Mona and Terry never missed the opportunity to drive to the nearest rummage sale or auction; together, they shared many wonderful memories on those excursions.

Survivors include, her loving husband, Terry of Waterford, WI; daughters, Shelby and Emily Jacobs of Waterford, WI; step-father, William Thiel of Janesville, WI; mother-in-law, Dorothy Jacobs of Waterford, WI; brothers-in-law, Tony (Mary) Jacobs of Union Grove, WI, Timothy (Beth) Jacobs of Burlington, WI, and Theodore (Jill) Jacobs of Waterford, WI.; sister-in-law Christine and Brian Blawat of Waterford, WI;;beloved cousins; aunts, Marilyn and Betty; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and dear friends; and beloved pets, Daisy Mae and Parker. Along with her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her step-mother, Donna Luepke; uncle, Robert Young; aunt, Mickey Gunderson; and cherished pets, Tarra, Kelly, Casey, Ally, and Yoda.

Visitation will be held from 12:30PM until the time of service at 2:30PM Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Cotton Exchange, 345 Hickory Hollow Rd. Waterford, WI 53185 with Pastor Joshua Conradt officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery Shawano, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoovers House Rescue Center, S47W30760 WI-59 North Prairie, WI 53153 or to a local animal shelter/rescue of choice.
